How is "active" defined?
At least one closed transaction in the trailing 24 months at the indicated asset class and deal size. Sponsors who have gone quiet on transactions appear as Coverage-only with that status flagged.
Will small sponsors be included?
Yes. The Edition is not a top-list. Sponsors raising $5–25M deals in secondary markets are first-class records when they meet the activity floor — often the most relevant counterparties for an emerging-manager LP or a regional capital advisor.
How does this relate to the LP Edition?
LP Edition maps where the equity is. Syndicator Edition maps who is deploying it. Used together, they form the equity side of the capital stack — the way Lender + Broker form the debt side.
